"The Financial Stud"
I was born in South Central, LA, in Southern California. I grew up in a low- middle income Family with High class Love and Generosity!
My parents having had me when they were teenagers while in high school and working respectively at McDonalds and Burger King, did not have much Financial Education to pass down to me. I spent most of my time in sports and wanting to be a Professional Athlete, but that Dream ended when I tore my ACL for the 2nd time while playing Division I Football at San Jose State University in 2006. It was my first realization that I needed a new way to achieve Financial Freedom outside of sports!
I always wanted to be wealthy, whatever you define that as, but I had to get started Fast because I knew what it took to become a world class athlete and I assumed it would take the same effort to reach peak levels in other industries and I already was behind because I spent most of my childhood and youth in sports. I was determined to be someone that had the means to make a difference in the world.
So, I started on a new Journey to climb the Corporate ladder of Success until I would be making enough money to save and invest to become Financially Free and enjoy an early retirement.
Two Years later on this climb, the ladder was stripped from me! In 2008 the Worst Recession Hit in American History, and my employer at the time felt the effects and to no fault of my own, I was respectively dismissed from my services. There I was, on a suppopsed career path that was going to get me Financially Free, but that was short lived.
After the lay off, I had some savings, a few months of severance pay, a paid vacation and an Unemployment Benefits package to show for what I thought was my road to Financial Freedom. I decided I was going to learn about how to manage your money because I had some money saved and I wanted to invest in starting a business. So, I started learning about money and business like a mad scientist spending every waking hour of the day.
Almost Two years later, I was offered an opportunity to work as a Financial Coach for a National Financial Firm. There is when it happened..., I founded a new purpose in life. Not to be a super duper millionaire, but rather a wealthy person that did what he loved and made alot of money doing it. The way I always dreamed of when I was out there on the Football field loving what I did.
My personal mission in life is to help others master their finances, credit, investments, business, and money management skills!!! I could not believe this information was not exposed to me before. It was a Match made in Heaven, I fell in love with this new founded information.
In 2010 is when I planted my flag and started and developed my own company named Financial Stud Inc. and other subsidiaries, whose mission it is to now...
